;3; waahh sweet anons thank you!! I’m usually given a few prompts when I design, for example for the recent comm I was given the details to work with ‘Chinese oriental, dragon, emperor crown’ and also colors blue/white/black/gold.
For me, animal/flowers are often my main inspiration when I do design so I use them a lot!

I’m self-taught, I never got the chance to learn drawing through classes or tutorial books. I prefer to learn through observation and memorize things myself, which is why I improve at extremely slow pace lol
I have a lot of favorite artists that I look up to, but truthfully speaking, I’m much more inspired with words rather than drawings? This may sound weird but I really like looking at song lyrics and poem/quotes as main inspiration :D

Recently I read Darwin’s Game, recc by my pal, it’s death game manga, fairly new but interesting! If you like death game manga, you can try Ousama Game by Renda Hitori, Doubt/Rabbit Doubt.
If you like shounen, try Oumagadoki Doubutsuen, Hokenshitsu no Shinigami, Defense Devil, Area D - Inou Ryouiki, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Yamada-kun to Shichinin no Majo
